I’m Simon Birks. I write stuff. I DON’T draw (don’t ask, it’s not pretty). Which is a shame.

And also not a shame. Because if I could draw, I wouldn’t have met RHStewart (Sinners sequential artist) and Lyndon White (Sinners Cover Artist & Letterer). Boy, can these people draw. And they’re very nice people too!

But I don’t just write comics (though there are three more in the works as I write). I write screenplays also, and am proud to say that a movie I co-wrote (The Search for Simon – watch it on Blinkbox!) not only won best screenplay, but was described as “A Triumph!” by Terry Jones, and “Very Silly!” by Michael Palin. It doesn’t get any better than that! I also wrote a six part sitcom called Last Contact which featured Norman Lovett (Holly from Red Dwarf). I’ve also written plays, comedy sketches, a novel and a couple of novellas for The Doctor Who Project.

I also act a bit, because why have any spare time?
